Hello, I’m Fuchsia

I believe in the power of a safe space where you can show up as your true self and feel accepted. I’m committed to ensuring that our work together is built on respect, empathy, and generosity - values I see as essential to meaningful therapy.

Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but I’m here to make it as easy as possible. In our time together, you can expect me to be:

  • Authentic and caring

  • Comfortable and unafraid to be with whatever you might want to bring

  • Sensitive to your unique needs

  • Grounded in the realities and challenges of modern life

  • Passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion

  • Respectful of your pace and boundaries

My Approach

I offer a flexible, person-centred approach to therapy, meaning our sessions are shaped by what works best for you. Together, we will explore what’s happening in your life and how past experiences might impact your present. My goal isn't to 'fix' you but to empower you - helping you better understand yourself, make decisions that reflect your values, and live a more fulfilling life.

My Background

With over 20 years of professional experience in health and social care, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside people from all walks of life. My career has included extensive work in mental health, support, and advocacy - particularly with individuals and communities affected by exclusion and systemic disadvantage. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led and supported a team of specialist suicide prevention workers as part of an NHS-commissioned rapid response (2020–2021). I’ve also helped establish an NHS-commissioned suicide bereavement service, where I continue to work as a senior practitioner - supporting the bereaved and collaborating with professionals to improve service standards in line with current best practice.

Training & Registration

I’m in my sixth and final year of training at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC), working towards my diploma and master’s degree in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy.

I am a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), which means I follow their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, which confirms I’ve met the safeguarding requirements for working with vulnerable adults.

Availability & Contact Details

I offer weekly in-person psychotherapy sessions at a reduced rate of £40 while I finish my diploma and master’s degree.

Please reach out if you'd like to arrange a session and see if we’re a good fit.
